Hybrids are the combination of different types of processes with the purpose of increasing the performance. Due to the combination, new, desired properties arise.
The existing, weight-reduced Soft Shell running jacket, which, in rainy weather, evaporates body moisture, was, amongst other things, the starting point of the new hybrid technology.
The combination of contrasting effects on one textile increases its performance properties. Thus, the climate function of the textile and the transportation of moisture away from the body can be considerably increased, thus obtaining a fast-drying effect.
In the conventional two or multilayer technology a water-repellent textile is combined with a moisture-transporting one.
