Functional Coating

Coating - textile metamorphosis

RUCO-COAT FR 2244 - Protects man and nature

Security without antimony and halogen

Conventional flame-retardant coatings of textiles often use antimony-trioxide and halogen-containing substances. A complex synergy of these substances results in extensive flame retardancy. Unfortunately, these substances are harmful once they reach the environment during finishing, application or on disposal of the textiles coated with them.

The environment's sigh of relief

With RUCO-COAT FR 2244 a new antimony and halogen-free path is followed that saves the environment. By means of a formaldehyde-free binder system a new flame-retardant active substance based on phosphorus is applied to textiles. On synthetic fibres as well as blends with cellulose fibres excellent, highly soaking-resistant flame-retardant effects are obtained.

More sustainability

Many countries think of only using textiles in public buildings that are finished with future products, ie antimony and halogen-free coatings/finishes. RUCO-COAT FR 2244 fulfills already today the respective requirements.

Easy application

The ready-to-use paste is applied to textiles by ordinary knife coating.
