Hydrophilic finishing of synthetics - moisture management par excellence

Hydrophilic finishing is an outstanding RUDOLF product segment for functionalising textiles. Apart from optimising basic products, specific research made us succeed in re-defining textile moisture management with the patented polyurethane-silicone-hybrid-technology-based SILURAN® system.

Not only moisture absorption and its transportation to the textile‘s outside - which has so far been of utmost importance - have been the objective of this development, but especially the release of moisture for the purpose of faster drying and better textile conditioning. SILURAN® confers an equal moisture absorption or transportation, considerably accelerated rapid drying properties, a discreet cooling effect and an optimised handle. The product‘s profile was complemented by good antistatic properties, which is essential for synthetic fibre textiles, which, due to static charge, will otherwise uncomfortably cling to the body. This creates “Advanced wear comfort“, which, by the combination with the hygienic and fresh finish SILVERPLUS®, can be extended into “Total Wear Comfort“.
