RUSTOL ARO is a silicone and mineral-oil-free defoamer based on renewable raw materials. The defoaming substance is rape seed oil, which grows in the fields of the administrative district of Bad Tölz–Wolfratshausen, the home of RUDOLF GROUP‘s headquarters. Short transport routes from production to processing plants is only one advantage worth mentioning with regard to the eco-balance.

The ca. 40 % of average yield of one rape seed supplies a pale to brownish-yellow raw material, which is the perfect defoamer basis. The crude oil obtained undergoes additional bleaching and deodorising, which removes residual substances of odour and taste. The rape seed oil raffinate produced is used in the food industry as well as in technical areas. However, what is completely new is to use it as the basis of a defoamer, which fully corresponds to the performance profile of common mineral oil defoamers.

Due to a special emulsifying system from fatty acid ethoxylates and silicic acid, RUSTOL ARO stands distinctly out in its overall performance against common defoamers used in textile processing. RUSTOL ARO offers advantages regarding application, waste water treatment and thus ecology in comparison with customary mineral oil defoamers.
