RUCO-LUB KPM
Crystallized to performHigh performance oxo-polyethylene emulsion with a versatile performance spectrum
Polyethylene does not equal polyethylene
Many things that we use daily, such as packing foil, bottles and fibres, are made of polyethylene. Plastics experts/chemists distinguish between HDPE* and LDPE**, which, depending on their properties, are used for different applications. HDPE and LDPE are thermoplastics which are eg used for manufacturing packings and utilitarian objects.
However, oxo-polyethylenes for textile finishes significantly differ from HDPE and LDPE. Oxo-polyethylenes are polyethylene waxes which are functionalised in specific processes by oxidation with oxygen.
Due to their functionality they can be processed to aqueous emulsions/dispersions. The innovation in RUCO-LUB KPM is that oxo-polyethylene microcrystallites are produced in a special manufacturing process. This new technology results in a distinct increase in the product‘s efficiency on textiles.
The advantages of RUCO-LUB KPM at a glance
