The new liberty in polyurethane coating

With RUCO-COAT PU 3511 and RUCO-COAT PU 8511 we have developed two polyester-polyurethanes which, apart from their efficiency, cover the complete hardness range of the polyurethane film on the textile. By blending RUCO-COAT PU 3511 and RUCO-COAT PU 8511 the BE-FLEX-System allows a linear adjustment of the hardness of the film to the blending ratio of the two products.

RUCO-COAT PU 3511 forms a soft, non sticky film with a degree of hardness of appr. 65 Shore A.

Important properties:

  • NMP-free
  • Outstanding flexibility at low-temperature
  • Resistant to yellowing
  • Resistant to hydrolysis
  • Good resistance to washing and dry cleaning

RUCO-COAT PU 8511 forms a very hard but flexible film with a degree of hardness of appr. 95 Shore A.

Important properties:

  • NMP-free
  • Outstanding flexibility at low-temperature
  • Resistant to yellowing
  • Resistant to hydrolysis
  • Good resistance to washing and dry cleaning
  • No influence on the flame-retardant properties of textiles
