Effects develop already in ambient air

Conventional water-repellent, FC-based agents develop the water, oil and soil-repellent effects only after thermal treatment above 130 °C. This process has been necessary to orientate the polymer on the fibre. The concept of ®RUCO-GUARD AIR6 is completely new; it develops its effects already during ordinary drying in ambient air. This opens up new perspectives in many respects:

  • Finishing PE, PP-textiles and non-wovens with a very low melting point
  • Finishing thermally sensitive articles made of linen, wool or silk
  • Manufacturing water-based, environmentally friendly post-impregnating agents as an alternative to purely solvent-containing products
